Happenings for this week for Div. 3

Physical Education
This is the last week for badminton so the skills test will be on Thursday, April 27.

The class will be going to tennis and swimming on Friday, April 28. This will take up most of the school day.

Math
There will be a quiz on Decimals this Friday, April 28.

School Assembly this Wednesday, April 26.

Students have started on their individual novel study project. Here is Esme' with her Title Page and the book she chose, "Here, There be Dragons."

SOCIAL STUDIES JAPAN BOOKLETS AND MONEY FUN BOOKLETS ARE NOW DUE.

Math
-Quiz on Money Fun Booklets this Friday, April 21

Language Arts
-Individual Novel Study booklet starts Thursday, Apr. 20. Students are to choose their own book by now.

Tennis this Friday-Forms and money due back to the school asap

Tennis

-Please return the tennis lesson permission forms back to the school as soon as possible. Payments are encouraged to be made on-line.

Math

-There will be a quiz on our "Money Fun" booklet this Thursday, April 13th.  The booklet is also due that day.  We will prepare for the quiz on Wednesday and study Wednesday night at home.

Novel Study

-Students are to choose a novel of their choice and have it approved by their teacher. Novel Study activities will be assigned by the end of this week. The main activity will be to make a diorama about a major event from their novels. Students could possibly start this project over the Easter break.

Science

-A new unit on Matter will start after Easter Break. Students will finish their Healthy Choices presentations this week.

A Reminder that there is no school on Tuesday, April 18th.

Welcome Back Everyone from Spring Break

Here are some of the things that Division 3 has completed and some things are we are about to start.

Math
Students did a super job on their Geometry quiz before Spring Break-complete
Students are now working on their Money booklet for Math.

Language Arts
Students will continue to work on weekly journals for their writing- complete
Students will be responsible for an individual novel study booklet- we are starting this soon.

Social Studies
Students have completed their Japan project presentations
Students will soon need to hand in their Japan booklets by This Friday, April 7th.

Science
Students are just about to complete their Healthy Choices Project.  
Presentations for this project will begin this Wednesday April 5th and continue until Thursday, April 13th. 

Physical Education
Students will begin a new unit on Badminton next week.
Off-campus fitness runs will start in the very near future.

French
Students will be starting on a French restaurant menu project starting this Friday, April 7th.
