Social Studies Project on WW2, Germany or Elephants
Today, our class had a good discussion about our projects that we are working on. Here are the details of that discussion.
-The researched topics must be written in their own words. (No cut and paste). Students are to see Mr.S if they are not sure about this rule.
-Some students are still searching for a Board/poster to buy. Students suggested that Walmart, Michaels, Staples and Monk Office Supply are all good places to find one. Some larger Dollar Stores might also be an option. Plain poster paper is available at the school as well.
-Some students are doing their project on Powerpoint so they don't need to find a board.
-Please check with your child that they are well on their way with the project.
-The Due Date is quickly approaching-Wednesday October 26th!
Families, if you haven't already done so, please ensure that your child has some kind of planner to record what there is for homework and other important information. Some planners will be available through Mr. S.
-I will be handing out Student ID cards today. Check with your child that they received one.
Important dates in the near future
-Monday, October 10 -Thanksgiving day- no school
-Wednesday October 19 and Thursday October 20- Parent Teacher Interviews. Students dismissed at 11:51 on both days.
-Friday, October 21, Pro-d day-no school
-Wednesday, October 26, 2016 Projects are due!
-Friday, October 28, Swimming at Gordon Head in the afternoon.
