Important Information for  Div. 3 for the week of Dec. 2.

Math
The class is currently working on perimeter and area so I'm asking for students to come to class prepared with a ruler. Please ensure that your child has a ruler for math class. Also, many students have been checking their work for all units with calculators. Although everyone in the class is very good when it comes to sharing, investing in a calculator, along with a ruler is a good idea. Thank you for your support for this.

Physical Education
The class is working on gymnastics skills in the gym but we will also continue our weekly fitness runs, weather permitting. Students do not have to get changed into their gym strip for any outside activities during winter months. 

Health Education
The class has started on their second project of the year on social community health. Some students may be doing some of this project over winter break (optional-not a requirement). The project will be due closer to the end of December.

Language Arts
Punctuation Passport booklets are now past due. Please double-check that your child did hand this in.
We will be starting a goal-setting booklet this coming week. These booklets will be due before the winter break.

Important Dates
Wed. Dec. 4 and Thurs. Dec. 5-Christmas Concerts at the school in the evening.

Wed. Dec. 18-Report Cards going home.

Fri. Dec. 20- Movie at Cinecenta for all grade sixes.
